Artisans Faire
The second Saturday in
November is a wonderful day for Aptos UMC and the community
because it's the day of the Artisans Faire! The 2010 Artisans Faire was
number 9!
Each year many vendors of handmade articles apply to
become part of this juried faire.
There is delicious homemade
English toffee, fabulous handcrafted afgans, jewelry, hand-turned items
made from local wood, and so much more!
People in Santa Cruz
County and beyond have heard about the wonderful items for sale by the
vendors, but they also know that there is a terrific Silent
Auction each year.
In addition to all the delightful goods
and services for sale, the Bistro has delicious hot soups and stews, as
well as homemade cakes and pies for dessert. One can come and spend
hours brousing and shopping, as well as enjoying wonderful homemade food
for lunch or an afternoon snack.
