Second Harvest Food Bank of Santa Cruz County
Members of Aptos UMC have been activitely involved in supporting the
mission of the Second Harvest Food Bank of Santa Cruz County for many
years. Each year food barrels are delivered to our church and are filled
with non-perishable foods. In addition to that, once or twice a year
members of the congregation participate in a food sort at the Second
Harvest Food Bank in Watsonville. Recently, several members of the
congregation took part in a tour of the Second Harvest Food Bank
facility in order to better understand the scope of its mission and
operation.
