MISSION OPPORTUNITIES IN THE COMMUNITY

  • Monthly Shelter Dinners: Join us on the 3rd Tuesday as we prepare and serve dinner for our homeless neighbors in Santa Cruz county at the St John's church in Aptos.

  • Food Sorts: We gather at the Second Harvest Food Bank several times a year to package hundreds of bags filled with grocery staples for those less fortunate.

  • Families in Transition (FIT): We collect and distribute groceries to families who are navigating their way out of homelessness into permanent necessities.

  • Church Mission Dinners: Throughout the year we have all church mission dinners in which we collect specific items that we can share with our homeless neighbors. (ie. Sock Night, Hygiene Kit Night, and Blanket Night)

  • Right Start BackPack Project: We collect and fill new backpacks with school supplies for kids in our county who don't have access to basic school necessities.

  • United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR): We collect specific needed items to send to the UMCOR organization to support disaster recovery.
